Vocal Performance Scholarship Competition

The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Houston Scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Vocal Performance. The amount awarded is up to $1000, divided into two payments. Payments are made in September of 2025 and January of 2026.
 
This year, a newly endowed scholarship has been established in memory of Mary Metz, M.B.E. The Mary Metz, M.B.E. Memorial Scholarship will be a $500 one-time payment to the student’s university account given at the beginning of the fall semester, 2025. This scholarship is limited to a graduate student in Vocal Performance who has at least one semester remaining in graduate school.

Application submissions are accepted from January 5, 2025, with a final deadline of March 10, 2025.
 
All applicants must submit the provided application form, as well as all other required materials by the deadline.  Late or incomplete applications and/or ineligible candidates will not be considered.  The recipient(s) will be notified by the end of April 2025.

Career Grant Competition

The Career Grant Competition is on hold for 2025.  We hope to provide these grants again in the near future!
